Throughout human history you could usually count on a dad to show you what they know and help you out.
Dads Who Build Stuff was born when two dads decided to help each other with one another's projects.
It wasn't long until the word spread in the community that great things happen when you put some good dads together, and more dads wanted in on the action.
This isn't a book club, it's not a thumb-twiddling small talk, and it's not goofing off in the garage.
This is a group of dads who like to get it done, and make the world little bit better with their skills.
It is almost inevitable that when two or more dads meet, good things can come of it.
We plan to meet once a month and connect as dads. We will share skills, stories, and encourangement. We meet at different locations, like someone's shop, a garage, or backyard. This is usually during a weeknight. You need to show up here, if you want to stay in the group.
No doubt many ideas will come out of the monthly meeting, and we will want to set time aside to crank out some work. We have ad-hoc meet-ups as a way to show up and support a member with their projects. It could be a couple of hours or half of a day.
We want to come together to put our superpowers to support our community. Contact me if you have suggestions or opportunities where this group can contribute towards meaningful goals.
